Eigenlayer Releases Whitepaper On GitHub, Introduces EIGEN Token Structure
According to Foresight News, Eigenlayer has released a whitepaper on GitHub, introducing the structure of the EIGEN token. The EIGEN token can act as a general intersubjective work token, which refers to tokens that need to be pledged (i.e., locked) to perform certain tasks.
EIGEN enhances the set of Active Verification Services (AVS) that can be protected through EigenLayer, and has a completely complementary role with ETH. That is, while ETH pledges support objective fault reduction, EIGEN pledges support intersubjective fault reduction.
